Dive into the world of 261 Fearless

261 Fearless starred in Toronto

Our team was at the Toronto Marathon Expo to tell women about 261 Fearless and our unique 261 Club network around the world

Kathrine, Emily and Melissa, all part of the 261 Fearless Team, were at the Toronto Marathon expo from May 3-4. The three women had one aim: Tell Her She Can! They inspired women with their stories to be fearless and step up to become a 261 Coach themselves, because they know she can.

Over the weekend, Kathrine Switzer shared her story with hundreds of women, men and children across multiple venues inspiring many to take the torch she has lit and carry it forward into their own communities through 261 Fearless. The most exciting aspect was the number of women in attendance for whom the message of fearlessness through running resonated. These ladies are needed as we pursue our mission of reaching women globally. Canada, in particular, with its vastness and remote areas is a country in need of opportunities to connect with, and empower women. Kathrine Switzer and Emily Ertel spoke together at the Toronto Marathon Expo with particular focus on recruiting women in the Toronto and surrounding areas. A Train the Trainer course will be held in Toronto September 13-15 through which we hope to welcome numerous Canadian coaches and leaders into the 261 Fearless family.

Our unique education program Train the Trainer is the first step in becoming a 261 Coach and leading a meet run in your local community. You will learn all necessary tools to lead the group with confidence and help the women to be empowered themselves. If you want to spread the power running has as well, then apply for the next Train the Trainer course.
