Read what some of our past Boston Marathon Charity Team members have to say about the 261 Fearless experience:

“The best part was inclusive and empowering atmosphere. The weekend is exciting regardless of who or what time you are running for, but running for an organization that works to empower women felt especially special.  I’ve been so touched by how supportive and communicative everyone has been since the marathon which I think is an amazing show of all the work 261 Fearless Inc. put in to create a great team!”

“I loved that it was a group of like-minded women and that it added an extra little ‘something’ to an already amazing marathon weekend.  It also made running a rough race that much easier knowing you were doing it for something other than yourself.”

“What I liked best – the amazing women that I now call friends!”

How Muscles Work During Speed —The Science of Fast Movement

Speed is not just effort. It’s neuromuscular precision. Every fast movement — sprinting, jumping, quick direction changes —  depends on how efficiently your muscles and nervous system work together. The Brain Starts the Movement Speed begins in the nervous system. When you move quickly, your brain sends rapid electrical signals to your muscles. The faster and more coordinated…
