Coach Education for the new 261 Club Israel

Breaking down barriers

Our 261 Club network is constantly growing and we warmly welcome the 261 Club Israel in our global community. After waiting for what seemed an eternity until travelling restrictions were partially lifted, we could finally meet in-person with the aspiring 261 Coaches from Israel and hold the initial 261 Fearless education program Train the Trainer in Austria. The soon-to-be 261 Coaches show the diverse face of Israel and the future women in the meet run: The group was comprised of Jewish women and a Muslim woman. They will collaborate closely to set up the 261 Club meet runs and break down cultural barriers by putting one foot in front of the other – by running!

Empowering women through running

Women’s empowerment is the central motivation of the future 261 Coaches in their new roles – they want to help women take control of their lives by being active and moving. Michal, one of the 261 Coaches and the Club Director, has shared with us what drives her to take on this new task and volunteer as a 261 Coach:

“I started running at the age of 44. Running is a place for myself, for peace, joy, and strengthening. The choice to become a 261 Coach was born out of a desire to pass on the joy of running to other women; Be part of an international club; Through running to connect with more women and more cultures.”

YOU made this happen!

The training for the future 261 Coaches from Israel has only been possible thanks to your support! Thanks to the funds raised during our Move the World Running and Walking Series, we could finance this education program and support the 261 Club Israel in its launch. Every step you walked, ran, cycled, swam or moved in any other way during this global series made this Train the Trainer certification course possible. Thank you for changing women’s lives!
