We Came Together in NYC and Left Even More Fearless

This past weekend, twelve 261 Fearless Club Directors from around the world met in New York City for something truly special: a weekend of connection, purpose, and unstoppable energy.

From the UK, Austria, Ecuador, Chile, New England, Los Angeles, Greater New York, and the D.C. Metro area, we gathered at Peloton Headquarters – 12 women, many paths, one mission: to empower others through movement, community, and courage.

We began by sharing our intentions, dreams, and hopes for the summit and quickly discovered that while our clubs are spread across continents, the heart of 261 Fearless beats the same everywhere: inclusive, strong, and driven by the belief that every woman deserves to feel empowered and seen.

In a powerful connection workshop, we learned what makes each 261 Club unique and what unites us all. The stories shared weren’t just moving – they were electric. This is what global sisterhood looks like.

Then came the energy burst we didn’t know we needed: a LIVE Peloton class with Alex Karwoski, who lit up the room and reminded us how joyful movement can be. That energy carried us into an incredible afternoon of wisdom and guidance from Kathrine Switzer, the woman who changed the game for women in running, and Edith Zuschmann, our CEO and visionary leader. Their words fueled our spirits and grounded us in the deeper “why” of what we do.

As we closed day one, we stood in our truth, sharing fearless stories that reminded us just how far we’ve come and how much further we can go. We ended the evening with a celebratory dinner at the legendary Harvard Club. Thank you to Barry Lites for the warm welcome! It was a night of laughter, hugs, and meaningful connection.

Day two greeted us with a sunrise run at the pier alongside Jessie Zapo and Girls Run NYC – because what better way to start a fearless day than with movement and sisterhood? After coffee and conversation, we returned to Peloton to build something real: our visions, shaped into bold, actionable plans we’ll carry home to our communities.

We closed the weekend exchanging gifts, tears, and fearless energy. We didn’t just meet, we built something. A network of women leaders who are ready to continue to uplift, lead, and expand the mission of 261 Fearless across the globe.

How Muscles Work During Speed —The Science of Fast Movement

Every fast movement — sprinting, jumping, quick direction changes —  depends on how efficiently your muscles and nervous system work together. The Brain Starts the Movement Speed begins in the nervous system. When you move quickly, your brain sends rapid electrical signals to your muscles. The faster and more coordinated…
