Welcome, Claudia Kuhlmann to the 261 Fearless Board

261 Fearless is pleased to announce the appointment of our newest Board Member, Claudia Kuhlmann. We welcome Claudia Kuhlmann as a new Board Member following the death of one of our most valued Board and Core Team Members, Horst von Bohlen, and we want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for everything he has done for 261 Fearless. He will never be forgotten.

Claudia Kuhlmann is a highly experienced Managing Director with over 25 years of expertise in the credit business. Throughout her career, she has held significant roles at Commerzbank AG and Dresdner Kleinwort in international locations such as Paris and London. She currently serves as the Local Head of Credit Risk Management for France and Benelux at Commerzbank AG in Paris. In this role, she is responsible for supervising the credit process, ensuring timely credit approvals, and providing essential reporting to management.

Throughout her career, she has demonstrated long-term experience in successfully leading multicultural teams, fostering cooperation, and promoting knowledge-sharing across different departments and regions. Her expertise lies in evaluating and managing complex credit risks for multinational corporations. She has a deep understanding of governance, internal controls, and the ability to lead and manage global audits as a result of her previous role in the audit department. Her professional journey exemplifies a strategic and fearless approach to complex challenges.

Beyond her professional achievements, Claudia is a passionate endurance athlete, actively participating in multiple sports such as running, hiking, and CrossFit. This passion for movement and resilience mirrors the very essence of 261 Fearless, a global community built on empowering women through running and education.

Claudia is not only a seasoned leader but also a committed volunteer, having dedicated time to “Shelter from the Storm” in London. Fluent in German and English, with intermediate French, her linguistic skills complement her international career. Her career exemplifies the dedication, resilience, and strategic mindset we champion at 261 Fearless. Her ability to navigate high-stakes environments and lead teams is a testament to the power of a fearless spirit.

Why she accepted the invitation to join the 261 Fearless board: “A great cause needs support! And as we all know: life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
