We have exciting news! We’re expanding our leadership team. We’re delighted that both Jo Ferguson, a Coach at 261 Club Teesdale and Tricia Griffiths, a Coach at 261 Club Lune Valley have stepped up to join the board of Directors of our Community Interest Company. Their skills, enthusiasm and passion for empowering other women will help us to achieve the potential we know we have as an organisation and reach more women around the UK.
Here’s what they had to say about their new role…
Tricia: ‘In my last six years as an active member of 261 Fearless, I have met so many women who have talents, experience, energy and love to share with others. And every one of our Coaches throughout the world recognise that they can use those skills of their own to enrich the lives of other women. As a Director I look forward to being able to find and encourage more of those women to help spread that energy and confidence across the UK. The running is just a healthy vehicle to enable us to empower others in so many ways.’
Jo: ‘Becoming a Director of 261 Fearless Club UK is an incredible opportunity to serve the wonderful Coaches and Members of this unique and amazing organisation, supporting as many women as we can to discover the joys of running so that they can use that experience to explore their potential in other areas of their lives.’
Please join us in welcoming them to their position where they join fellow Directors Lisa Ruggles and Juliet McGrattan. As they say, ‘When women work together, wonderful things happen’.
