CALLING ALL RUNNERS WHO ALREADY HAVE A BIB FOR THE 2024 TCS NEW YORK CITY MARATHON!
We have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of something special!
Did you know that Kathrine Switzer, women’s running pioneer and co-founder of 261 Fearless, WON the NYC Marathon in 1974? If you do the math..... (go ahead we’ll wait) that means this year’s TCS NYC Marathon marks 50 years since that momentous day!
To celebrate we are inviting bibbed runners from ALL over the globe and ALL gender identities to apply to join our official charity team which we’ve fittingly called The Fearless 50.
As a member of our official charity team we’ll support you, inspire you, and cheer for you from the moment you make our team, to the finish line, and beyond. Plus, you will receive ALL the benefits of a 261 Fearless charity runner, including:
- A 261 Fearless gear kit from adidas (shirt, jacket, tights and shoes)
- Virtual gatherings with team members from around the world
- Regular updates via newsletter
- An invitation to our special event celebration Marathon weekend with Kathrine Switzer
- After race refreshing (shower and wellness) and celebration at Equinox close to the finish line
- Connection with other wonderful NYC Charity Runners and our 261 community

A fundraising minimum of US$ 1,974 is required if you are accepted as a part of the 261 Fearless Team New York City 2024 (The Fearless 50)
Please note:
- Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all 261 Fearless Team NYC 2024 (The Fearless 50) spots have been assigned.
- Completing the application does not guarantee a place on 261 Fearless Team NYC 2024 (The Fearless 50).
- If the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon is canceled for any reason, or moved to a virtual-only event, members of 261 Fearless Team NYC 2024 (The Fearless 50) will be held to their fundraising minimums.
Funds raised by 261 Fearless Team New York City 2024 members benefit 261 Fearless Inc. global and local programs and services.
